Favorite university memory: My favorite university memory has been attending Fighting Illini basketball games with friends.

Immediate future plans: This summer, I will be pursuing an MD-PhD at the University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City, KS.

Future plans (5-10 years): Five years from now, I will still be pursuing an MD-PhD since it’s an eight-year program. For my PhD, I hope to study stem cell biology in the context of cancer development and treatment.

I want to give a special shout out to: Dr. Jennifer Amos, who has been a supportive and inspiring mentor throughout my years at UIUC. Thank you for pushing me to believe in my abilities, I will ensure to carry your advice into my career as a physician-scientist.
